At Herman’s Furniture & Design, we believe your home should reflect your style. Our personalized interior design service makes the process easy, fun, and tailored to you. Here’s how it works in three simple steps:
1. Initial House Call
Our free interior design service starts with a visit to your home to measure, learn your lifestyle, budget, and style preferences, and even work with existing pieces. This gives us the foundation to create a custom plan that matches you and the feelings you want to invoke.
2. Presentation & Design Consultation
At our store, we’ll present two custom design concepts. You can explore fabrics, test furniture, and ask questions. From floor plans to paint and flooring, we’ll refine the design to fit your style, comfort, and budget. Once you’re pleased with the design, simply place your order.
3. Final Styling
After delivery, we help finish the details—from arranging accessories to styling shelves and gallery walls. Whether you’re building new, refreshing your space, or just updating a corner, you can trust Herman’s Furniture & Design to bring your personality to life.
*Herman’s design service is 100% complimentary. A small deposit is required to secure Herman’s interior design service. This deposit is then applied toward any decorating or furnishing purchases made to implement the approved design. Deposit is non-refundable.

What do Herman’s Furniture and Design Interior designers do?
At Herman’s Furniture & Design we believe your home should reflect your style and our personalized interior design service will achieve all of your goals. Our designers listen to you describe how you want to live in your space. We then design your space by capturing your personality and bringing it to life with the right furniture, rugs, artwork, accessories, window treatments and more.
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are not required and you may come in during business hours at either of our locations and talk to a designer. To schedule in advance, just tap one of the orange buttons on the page above to book a meeting!
When does the interior designer come to my home?
Once we talk with you, whether in person, online, or over the phone, your interior designer will schedule a day and time that is easiest for you.
How do I know the designer will “get” my style?
At Herman’s Furniture & Design, our interior designers create in a wide range of styles and love collaborating with every type of client—whether you already know your look or are still discovering it. If you have a clear vision and a strong sense of style, your designer will help refine the details, guide you through selections, and handle your order and delivery so the process is seamless. If you’re ready for a fresh new look, your designer will visit your home, learn about your lifestyle and preferences, take measurements, and craft a personalized design plan. They’ll work closely with you every step of the way until your space feels perfectly you.
How will my interior designer create my design?
After consulting with you and visiting your home, you will meet with your Herman’s Furniture interior designer at the store to receive the presentation of two different, carefully curated and crafted design concepts based on your requirements and vision. Your designer will go over the concepts and all of the details and options that make up the design.
How is Herman’s able to provide my free interior design service?
While our design service is complimentary, a non-refundable $200 deposit is required to secure your designer. However, this deposit is later applied to the price of any furnishings or decorations that you purchase through the store for your approved design concept, thereby making the service 100% complimentary.
